2027: Ikono will not Disappoint Gov Eno Again, Says APC Stakeholders

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikono Local Government Area say all political gladiators in the area are now on the same page, and that their unity will translate into the re-election of Governor Umo Eno in 2027.

According to them, 2027 election will be quite different from previous election because Ikono will not disappoint Governor Eno again.

This assurances were expressed by the Member Representing Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ukpong-udo, and Senator Alloysius Etok at the Home Coming of the APC in Ikono.

Representative Ukpong-udo said the event afforded them the opportunity to test the popularity of the APC in the area, and that “going by the organic support we we have seen here today, APC is solidly on ground in Ikono.”

Senator Etok corroborated that the APC is the beatiful bride of politicians and voters in Ikono since stakeholders now work together, hence that will reflect in the next election.

Council Chairman, Hon. Otobong Essien, Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Dr Ubong Inyang and other stakeholders agree that going by the soaring number of party registration, APC is fortified in Ikono, and that Governor will be the first beneficiary of the might of the party.

They also promised to support President Bola Tinubu, Senator Godswill Akpabio and other candidates that will fly the flag of the APC in the area.

The stakeholders toured the different party registration points representing the various wards of Ikono where they inspected the party registers to assess the level of compliance of members on membership registration and revalidation, and were upbeat that the APC is set to triumph.

Stakeholders also harped on Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) voter registration by the APC members to achieve electoral victory in 2027.

All in all, they reassured Governor Eno that his story in Ikono in 2027 will different in the positive sense of the word.
