Committee on TSA Holds Inaugural Meeting
The Inter-Ministerial Committee on the Implementation of the Treasury Single Account (TSA–IGR), inaugurated yesterday by the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno PhD, today, Tuesday 6 January, 2025, held its inaugural meeting, at the Revenue House, Akwa Ibom State Internal Revenue Service (AKIRS), Uyo.
At the meeting, the Committee chaired by the State Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Emem Almond Bob, deliberated on the implementation framework and timelines, and resolved to put in place necessary measures to ensure the effective take-off of AkwaRemit and the full operationalisation of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) in the state.
He appealed for cooperation of all the members and MDAs for the smooth implementation of the policy in line with the ARISE Agenda.
