Frank Archibong Celebrates Christmas with Ikot Ibiok Community, Party Faithfuls

…Assures Massive Support for Gov. Umo Eno’s 2027 Re-election Bid

Hon. Frank Archibong, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, on Saturday, December 27, hosted the people of Ikot Ibiok Community and party stakeholders across party lines to a Christmas celebration at his residence in Ikot Ibiok, Eket LGA.

The celebration, which began with the hosting of families from Ikot Ibiok Community, later expanded to include party stakeholders and faithfuls drawn from the 17 polling units in Central II Ward.

Addressing families and political faithfuls who converged for the festive celebration, Archibong reaffirmed his total support for the re-election of Governor Umo Eno, describing the Governor as a pragmatic and compassionate leader whose people-focused governance reflects the ARISE Agenda.

He expressed confidence that Central II, Eket, would vote massively for Governor Umo Eno in 2027.

“Governor Umo Eno has demonstrated uncommon sincerity, compassion, and focus in leadership. His people-centred approach to governance and commitment to development clearly reflect the ideals of the ARISE Agenda. Supporting his second term is a collective investment in a more prosperous, and inclusive Akwa Ibom State,” he said.

He encouraged eligible residents to collect their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs), noting that strong grassroots participation would guarantee victory for the Governor and the APC.
“Central II and the entire people of Eket are fully mobilised and prepared to deliver massive support for Pastor Umo Eno in 2027,” he added.

Archibong, Dean of Commissioners and Special Advisers, commended Central II Ward Councillor, Hon. Rose Silvanus, for keeping faith with the people and thanked residents for their support for Governor Umo Eno, Akan Tommey, and the APC.

He also announced the sponsorship of 34 persons, two from each polling unit, for professional certification under the second batch of the 2026 empowerment scheme to support her in building people for the future.

Goodwill messages from community leaders praised Archibong for his consistent support for community development, human capacity building, scholarships, and medical outreach programmes. They promised to work for the success of Governor Umo Eno and APC.

The event featured the distribution of bags of rice and cash support to residents and stakeholders, alongside the presentation of certificates, business support grants and sewing machines sponsored by the Ward Councillor.
