Gov Eno Admonishes Christian to Exercise Patience in Times of Uncertainties 

as Pastor George, wife dedicate twin babies after 12 years of marriage

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno has charged Christians to always have faith in God and exercise patience and hope in the face of turbulence and uncertainties in life.

Speaking at the dedication ceremony of Pastor Prince George and wife’s set of twins, Keini and Keima, at the Gospel Foundation Ministry, Etinan, the Governor who described children as God’s blessing to families, commended the couple for their steadfastness in God and for weathering the storms of childlessness in the last twelve years of their marriage.

The Governor who appreciated God for the blessing, congratulated the family, and prayed for His sustained blessings to the family and the ability for them to raise the children in the way of the Lord.

Preaching on the theme “Precious Gift”, drawn from Psalm 127:4 and Gen 49:4, the founder of Gospel Foundation Ministry, Bishop Enobong Essien, described children as precious seeds to be treasured and nurtured in godly ways for the future benefit of the parents and society.

The cleric said children are priceless vessels of honour, joy, satisfaction, defence and support that strengthens the bond of family unity.

Bishop Essien advised parents to guard against enemies and anything that threatens the growth of their children, but correct them with love in order to enhance their spiritual growth and physical advancement.

Thanking God on behalf of the family, Pastor George, who is the resident Pastor of the Uyo branch of the Ministry, expressed appreciation to God for giving him a breakthrough after 12 years of childlessness.

He thanked Governor Eno for sparing time to grace the ceremony, describing him as a true brother and passionate leader whose prayers and encouragement have strengthened and energized his faith to serve God even in the midst of challenges.
