Governor Eno Delivers on Promise, Gifts Brand New Coaster Bus to Akwa Ibom Traditional Rulers

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno PhD, has presented a brand new coaster bus to the State Supreme Council of Traditional Rulers, fulfilling his promise to facilitate team movement of the royal fathers during official engagements. Commissioner Mkpisong Frank Archibong made the presentation on behalf of Governor Eno at the Traditional Rulers chambers in Uyo on Thursday, 18th December 2025.

The gesture reaffirms Governor Eno’s commitment to the welfare of monarchs and strengthening the traditional institution. “This is just one of many initiatives aimed at supporting the traditional rulers,” Archibong stated, highlighting the Governor’s focus on enhancing the Council’s capacity to carry out its duties effectively.

President General of the Supreme Council, Ntenyin (Dr) Solomon Etuk, thanked Governor Eno for keeping his promise, praising his developmental strides and genuine love for the royal fathers. “This bus will greatly enhance our mobility and enable us to carry out our duties more efficiently,” he said, adding that the Council would soon embark on an inspection tour to witness projects across the State.

The event was attended by top officials, including Akuku Saviour Udofia, Paramount Rulers, and Dr Emmanuel Umontuen, Secretary of the Council. They commended Governor Eno’s leadership and vision for Akwa Ibom State, praying for his continued success in office.

The presentation of the coaster bus is seen as a significant boost to the traditional institution, demonstrating Governor Eno’s respect for the monarchs and his commitment to their welfare.
