Kept By His Power
Kept By His Power
“Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” – 1 Peter 1:5 (KJV)
You are not the one keeping yourself. God is keeping you. That’s the staggering truth buried in this verse. In a system that often demands we hold everything together, Scripture gently reminds us that it is the power of God that holds us.
The Greek word translated “kept” here means guarded like a fortress. Imagine that. Heaven’s power is your defence. You are not merely existing, you are being preserved, shielded and sustained by God’s own hand.
But there’s a key: through faith. His power keeps, but your faith connects. The bridge between divine preservation and your daily walk is faith in God’s promises. When fear whispers that you won’t make it, faith responds: He is always keeping me. When you feel weak and unsure, faith reminds you: I’m not holding God – He’s holding me.
This keeping is not partial. It’s not seasonal. It’s not dependent on your perfection. It flows from His unwavering covenant. That’s why even when you fall, you’re not destroyed. Even when you stumble, you’re not abandoned. Because underneath are the everlasting arms.
And this keeping is unto salvation and until the final day, until your journey ends in glory. No devil, no disaster, no failure can snatch you from His grip. You are kept by the King of kings!
So walk confidently today – not in your strength, but in His power. You are not on your own. Heaven is watching, guarding, and guiding every step. You’re not barely taking steps. Your steps are ordered and kept only on the right places.
Be Enormous!
