GOV ENO, CABINET, OTHER STAKEHOLDERS COMMIT STATE INTO GOD’S HAND AT AUGUST EDITION OF GOVT HOUSE COVENANT SERVICE

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, was among worshipers at the August edition of the Government House Covenant Service which took place Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Uyo.

Preaching on the theme of the service, “My Shield, My Glory,” the Presiding Bishop of International Pentecostal Holiness Church, Dr Samuel Akpan, assured Christians that Jesus never fails, but remains the shield, glory and help for those who put their trust in him.

During a prayer session led by Bishop Josephine Eggah, Governor Eno and other worshipers at the service committed the state and its leadership into God’s hand for his security, protection and defense against adversaries.

In attendance at the service were the Deputy Governor, Senator Akon Eyakeneyi, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Udeme Otong, Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, and other government officials.
