“My Money Has Been Refunded By The Church” Lady Who Mistakenly Transferred ₦1.64M to Pastor Jerry Eze’s Church Thanks Pastor Jerry Eze

A Nigerian woman identified as Sandra OPara has expressed gratitude to Pastor Jerry Eze and the Streams of Joy finance team after ₦1,640,200 she mistakenly transferred to an account belonging to the church was refunded.

Sandra initially took to social media to seek help after realizing that she had accidentally sent the money to the church’s account.

According to her, she had participated in NSPPD prayers earlier that day, where she took communion and made an offering. She later needed to transfer money to a Zenith Bank account in connection with voucher purchases and registration for people associated with Value Saco Africa.

However, while making the transaction, she mistakenly transferred ₦1,640,200 into an account belonging to Streams of Joy.

Sandra said she became aware of the error after opening the transaction receipt and seeing that the recipient was Streams of Joy.

“I mistakenly sent ₦1,640,200 into Pastor Jerry Eze’s church account. Please, I need the money back. It’s not offering,” she appealed in her initial video.

She explained that the money was not hers but belonged to other people, who were expecting her to complete the intended transaction. She therefore appealed to anyone connected to Streams of Joy, particularly the finance department, to check the church’s accounts and assist her in recovering the funds.

Sandra also explained that she was a single mother of two and did not have the means to replace the money herself.

Following her appeal, the matter gained attention online, with people sharing her video in an effort to help her reach the church.

In a subsequent video, however, Sandra confirmed that the situation had been resolved and that the church had refunded the entire ₦1,640,200.

“My money has been refunded by the church. Thank you to Pastor Jerry Eze,” she said.

Expressing her appreciation, Sandra thanked Pastor Jerry Eze, whom she described as her spiritual father, as well as the church’s finance team, NSPPD and everyone who shared her initial appeal.

She clarified that her first video was never intended to accuse or tarnish Pastor Jerry Eze or Streams of Joy.

“I never did this video to tarnish my Papa’s image,” she said, appealing to bloggers and social media users who had shared the original video to take it down now that the issue had been resolved.

Sandra further described Pastor Jerry Eze as a “loving father” and said she regularly participates in NSPPD and values the spiritual impact of the ministry in her life.

She concluded by thanking everyone who helped bring attention to the matter and confirmed that the funds had been successfully returned to her.
