ACTIVATING TO THE LETTER

“And she went right off and did it, did just as Elijah asked… GOD’s promise fulfilled to the letter, exactly as Elijah had delivered it!” – 1 Kings 17:15–16 (MSG)

Beloved friends, every prophecy is activated through obedience. Elijah released the Word; the widow acted with obedience and the prophecy came to pass. Her miracle did not begin when the oil multiplied – it began the moment she surrendered a part of the only meal she had concluded would be her last.

For someone who had carefully chosen her words “a handful of flour, a little oil, a few sticks, myself, my son, and then death”, her conclusion was governed by human calculation rather than divine revelation. Yet one act of obedience transitioned her from the economy of human calculation into the economy of divine multiplication.

What conclusions have you reached about your family, business, health, or future? Have they been formed by the economic indices of the day or by God’s prophecy over you? Have you taken even one obedient step to activating His prophecies? Lay down the calculator of human reasoning and become an activator of God’s Word. Remember, God said “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9)

Beloved, once you respond to divine instruction with precision, God will always fulfill His promise to the letter.
