Bishop Udonsek Emerges SSIMAC Chairman, Unveils Vision for Unity and Global Evangelism

The Diocesan Bishop of Christ Army Church (GBC), Akwa Ibom State Diocese, Bishop (Dr) David E Udonsek, MNSE, has been inaugurated as Chairman of the Akwa Ibom State Chapter of the Seven-Star International Ministerial Alliance of Churches (SSIMAC), with a pledge to foster unity among Christian ministries and advance evangelism through transparent and Spirit-led leadership.

Speaking shortly after his inauguration, Bishop Udonsek described his emergence as a sacred trust and divine assignment, expressing profound gratitude to God and appreciation to the Board of Trustees, the Executive Council, founding fathers of the organization, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Akwa Ibom State Chapter, ministers of the Gospel, delegates, partners, and members for the confidence reposed in him.

“I consider this appointment not merely as an honour, but as a sacred trust and a divine assignment,” he said.

The cleric pledged to provide transparent, humble, and Spirit-led leadership, stressing that the alliance would strengthen fellowship among member ministries, foster unity within the Body of Christ, encourage evangelism and discipleship, empower the next generation of Gospel ministers, and expand global missions through collaboration and prayer.

Dr Udonsek noted that the diversity of the alliance, comprising members from different nations, cultures, and denominations, remained its greatest strength, united by a common mission of proclaiming Jesus Christ to the world.

He called on members to set aside personal interests and work collectively towards advancing God’s Kingdom, emphasizing that the success of SSIMAC would depend on the collective commitment of its members under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The new chairman also assured the founding leaders of his commitment to building on the solid foundation they had laid while embracing new opportunities for greater impact.

He promised to remain approachable, accountable, prayerful, and faithful to the vision of the organization, while seeking the prayers, counsel, and support of members throughout his tenure.

Bishop Udonsek expressed optimism that the inauguration of the new executive would usher in greater unity, renewed passion for evangelism, stronger partnerships across nations, and unprecedented advancement of the Gospel.

SSIMAC, the Seven-Star International Ministerial Alliance of Churches, is a global ministerial movement committed to fostering unity, excellence, collaboration, and the advancement of the Gospel among church leaders, believers, and Christian entrepreneurs across different nations.
