Godfada hosts Etinan entertainment stakeholders:Call for unity and support for Pastor Umo Eno

In a significant move to foster unity and progress in the entertainment industry,gospel music star and the Special Assistant to the Governor on Entertainment, Godfada Uko hosted a gathering of entertainment stakeholders in Etinan Local Government Area on Sunday, August 3, 2025.

The governor’s aide said the meeting aimed to bring together key players in the industry to discuss ways to commercialize their talents and promote the growth of the sector.It brought together a diverse group of entertainers, including musicians, comedians, actors, dancers, and other performers of Etinan origin and provided a platform for the entertainers to chart a course for the progress of the industry and discuss ways to overcome challenges.

In his remark, Godfada emphasized the need for unity among all groups in the entertainment industry, stressing that a united front is essential for progress. He noted that the meeting was necessary to put in place structures that would facilitate the growth of the industry and ensure its commercial viability. As a pioneer chairman of PMAN in Etinan, Godfada expressed his delight in seeing entertainment grow from one level to another in Etinan and Akwa Ibom state as a whole.

In conclusion,he called for support for the ARISE agenda of his boss,the governor of Akwa Ibom state, Pastor Umo Eno Ph.D,whom he described as the best thing to happen to entertainers in Akwa Ibom state,owing to his appointment of over 9 aides on entertainment,amongst other reasons.

The consultant to Akwa Ibom State Government Entertainment Desk and CEO of Talent Bank Nigeria, Nelson NseAbasi, the Coordinator of Ibom Entertainers Forum, Comrade Ubong Ikpe (Ohi), and the PMAN Chairman Etinan, Comrade Idongesit Okon Effiong, were among the stakeholders present at the occasion.Godfada’s initiative was commended by several speakers, who thanked the entertainers present for their presence and urged them to unite to grow the forum.

The meeting highlighted the importance of identifying and commercializing one’s talent in the entertainment industry and marked a significant step towards promoting the growth and development of the entertainment industry in Etinan Local Government Area. With the support of Godfada and other stakeholders, the industry is poised to make significant strides in the near future.
