Gov Eno Mourns Late Pastor Mrs Emem Williams Mbuk

GOV ENO MOURNS LATE PASTOR MRS. EMEM WILLIAMS MBUK

Akwa Ibom state Governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, has commiserated with the family of Prophet Williams Mbuk, on the death of his dear wife, late Pastor (Dr.) Emem Williams Mbuk, describing her as a devoted Christian and compassionate mother who lived a life of impact.

Governor Eno, in his condolence message to the deceased husband, delivered by the Dean, College of Commissioners and Honourable commissioner, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mkpisong Frank Archibong, during the funeral service held at the VFIWC Cottage of Providence, on Saturday, 26, July 2025, and conducted by the Victorious Family International Christian Worship Centre, Afaha Uqua road, Eket local government, regretted the painful departure of the Late Mrs. Emem Williams Mbuk.Prophet Williams Mbuk and Mkpisong Frank Archibong 

He said, “On behalf of the government and people of Akwa Ibom State, I express our deepest condolences on the demise of your dear wife, Late Pastor Dr. (Mrs.) Emem Williams Mbuk, at a very young age of 49. The death of a love one, especially at a relatively young age, evokes sad memories and we share your grief at this moment of your bereavement.

“As sad and painful her departure may represent in your life, I urge you to be consoled in the knowledge that she lived a life of impact and morality serving the Lord and preaching the gospel of salvation. As we gather here to bid her farewell, stand still to the ideals and virtues she has left behind and ensure others emulate. May her soul rest in the bossom of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen”.

Prophet Williams Mbuk, in his message of appreciation, thanked Governor Umo Eno, friends and well wishers for sympathizing with him and his family. He acknowledged the fatherly role the Governor played to safe his wife.
“It is so painful that my partner is gone to be with the Lord. She was a virtuous wife, blessed gift and peacemaker, who deserved every honour as a good woman”.

Late Pastor Mrs. Emem Williams Mbuk, died at the age of 48 years (1977-2005).
