GOVERNOR UMO ENO, PhD, FELICITATES ELDER PAUL BASSEY ON HIS BIRTHDAY

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, has congratulated the Honourable Commissioner for Sports, Elder Paul Bassey, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a goodwill message released on his behalf by his Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udoh, Governor Eno described Elder Bassey as an accomplished sports administrator, seasoned journalist, and passionate advocate for sports development, whose exploits are nationally and internationally celebrated and acknowledged.

Governor Eno further applauded his commitment to the interpretation of his vision for sports development through the ARISE Agenda, which is to discover young talents, introduce them to the best possible training facilities, and eventually expose them to the international sporting world.

“Your life reflects years of hard work, dedication, and commitment to the promotion of sports, and we are glad you have parlayed those years of experience into serving our dear State.

As you celebrate your birthday today, I wish you more years of good health and strength so you may continue to serve our dear State.
