Unauthorized Use of My Name in 2027 Campaigns

My attention has been drawn to political materials in circulation linking my name to the 2027 House of Representatives election for Eket Federal Constituency.

I wish to state clearly and unequivocally that:

I am not a candidate for the said election, neither have I authorized anyone or any group to use my name or image for campaign purposes.

Any such claims are false, misleading, and without my consent.

I remain committed to my present responsibilities in service to the people, and I urge the public to disregard any publications or campaign activities associating me with the 2027 elections.

The general public is hereby advised to treat such unauthorized campaign materials as figment of imagination of the purveyors..

I also reserve the right to take appropriate action against those behind this dastardly act.

If eventually, i want to serve the good people of Eket Federal Constituency as their representative in the future, i will diligently follow due process and the tradition of consultations.
