FAHUF International Carries Out Medical Empowerment Project at Demark Clinic
In a determined effort to bolster healthcare delivery, FAHUF International has donated vital medical equipment and healthcare packages to Demark Clinic, Annex at Mbiabong Ikot Udofia, Ini Local Government Area.
During the presentation of the items, President of FAHUF International, Hum. Freda Akpabio highlighted that this initiative reflects the unwavering commitment to the well-being of people in and around the community.
She pointed out the pressing necessity for enhanced health facilities, especially given that some time ago, after an accident involved few members of FAHUF International, they received first aid at this nearby hospital.

Despite the dedication of the staff, it was evident that the facility lacked some basic medical equipment. For example, in the absence of a drip stand, a window protector had to be used as an alternative.
As an organization committed to strengthening healthcare delivery, we returned to the hospital to donate drip stands and other essential materials as a gesture of gratitude and support. We always supported the patients with financial tokens to help with whatever bill that will be incurred during the process of their treatment.
She urged the hospital management to utilize the donated equipment effectively in order to better serve the population, adding that this initiative is part of ongoing efforts to ensure access to quality healthcare. We believe that every patient deserves quality care, and we will continue to do our part to bridge the gaps where we can
Lady Cecilia Awak, the Matron Demark Clinic Annex, who received the donations on behalf of the Health facility, expressed heartfelt gratitude to FAHUF International praising the team of humanitarians for their show of love and compassion. She assured that the hospital staff remains committed to delivering quality medical care to everyone, anytime and any day.
