Akwa Ibom Commissioner, Frank Archibong Celebrates Outgoing NYSC Members with Farewell, Advice

The Dean of Commissioners and the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Frank Archibong, warmly received the outgoing National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Batch B Stream 2 members who served in the ministry during a farewell meeting in his office.

The corps members, led by their team leader, Shimbura Yebsunya, on Thursday 7 August during the visit expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to serve under the commissioner’s guidance.

“We sincerely appreciate you for giving us this platform to serve and for helping us gain valuable life experiences that will contribute to our growth,” Yebsunya said.

In his address, Hon. Frank Archibong praised the corps members for their dedication and impactful contributions during their service year.

I thank you for your efforts and commitment while serving in this ministry,” he said.

He further advised them to uphold diligence and commitment in their future endeavors, stating, “Wherever you find yourselves, be diligent in service and work towards making Nigeria a better place.”

The event was marked by a touching gesture as the corps members presented a picture souvenir to the commissioner as a token of appreciation.

Adding to the joyous occasion, two of the 14 outgoing corps members presented their wedding invitation cards to Hon. Archibong, celebrating personal milestones alongside their service completion.
