Federal Lawmaker Etteh Facilitates Tertiary Institution Job for another Constituent

… As beneficiary, Edoho, Says Lawmaker’s Intervention Makes Long-Standing Career Dream a Reality

The member representing Eket/ONNA/Esit Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Okpolupm Etteh, has facilitated a job opportunity at one of Nigeria’s prominent tertiary institutions for a constituent, Barrister Godwin Edoho.

Edoho, a legal expert and recent beneficiary of the lawmaker’s job facilitation initiative, paid a thank-you visit to Etteh on Sunday to express his appreciation for the intervention, which he said had helped to make a long-standing career aspiration a reality.

The beneficiary said the opportunity meant a lot to him, describing it as “a long time coming” and thanking the lawmaker for his support and intervention.

Responding, Rep. Etteh expressed appreciation to the beneficiary for returning to acknowledge the assistance, describing the gesture as a reminder of the impact such interventions have on the lives of constituents.

The lawmaker said he would be fulfilled to see beneficiaries of his interventions progress in their careers and rise to the rank of professors in the coming years.

He urged Barr. Edoho to make good use of the opportunity and be a worthy representative of the federal constituency and a good ambassador of his family.

The lawmaker who serves as Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on University Education, has since assuming office in June 2023 facilitated employment opportunities in higher institutions and other Agencies for several constituents.
