FRANK ARCHIBONG: A LIFE BEYOND 50
FRANK ARCHIBONG: A LIFE BEYOND 50
It was Warren Bennis who posited that “Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.”
Follow me as I take you on this journey of a man, who has lived beyond his age.
The name Frank Archibong means to people, different shades, all dependent on the coins of positives and the prism at which you view it.
Frank Archibong, I describe him as a pathfinder, a benefactor and a leader par excellence, whose legacies outlive times.
His vision to uplift the lives of people, is not a subject of debate. This is what has made him the King of both men and boys. This man is a street General, who has more than 5 stars on his shoulders.
From the purchase of JAMB forms for thousands of students, to payment of school fees, to payment of law school fees, to empowerment for business grants, cars, lands, houses, the list remains endless.
The recommendations of people for political appointments, offshore jobs, State Government jobs, Federal establishment jobs, this is beyond a man of 50.
He did not begin this journey today, here’s a man, whose antecedents are beyond 50. I’m talking about Mr. NO NOISE.
He does things and walk away, without adulation and fanfare. As long as you smile, he feels fulfilled on the lives he has touched without cameras.
His house both in Eket and Uyo are a Mecca of sort everyday, with all manner of persons across the globe gathering for his assistance.
I don’t want to mention the several hospital bills he has undertaken for people, the abroad scholarships people have enjoyed courtesy of his benevolence, yet, he is not tired of doing more.
As Ken Blanchard wrote, “The key to successful leadership today is influence, not authority.” Frank Archibong wields the leadership influence beyond the shores of Akwa Ibom State.
He represents a paradigm shift in the leadership rungs of ladder, that young persons could be entrusted with power to deliver.
His influence is beyond words, and his presence ignites a flame of unity and togetherness, representing love, peace and cordiality.
His yearly sponsorship of the Christmas Carol in Eket, serves as a rallying point for his people, and represents the love that Christ preached.
If one man has made an impact in my life and in the lives of thousands of others, it is Frank Archibong. I hold a Master of Arts and PhD degrees today, because of Frank Archibong.
He paid my two years Masters fees and 4 years of my PhD school fees.
Beyond that, he has done so much for me, that this piece cannot capture all, for want of space.
I stand as a TESTIMONIAL, to tell the world, publicly and privately, that this man, Frank Archibong made me.
On his shoulders, I have stood, flying the flag of success and blessings. He has offered this same shoulders to thousands of people.
On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, he will officially turn 50, but to me and others, it is a life beyond 50.
It is a life of great service and impact, a life worth emulating, a life of legacies, a life of selflessness, a life of blessings, he has sown seeds that his name will forever live beyond him, and his generations will continue to reap the fruits of his labour of love.
Gracious birthday, Leader, Pathfinder, Benefactor, My Lord Spiritual and Temporal.
May this year meet you in good health, strength, blessings, peace and fulfilment beyond the 50.
Without Frank Archibong, there will be no me.
Dr. Eneh John
An undergraduate of Frank Archibong’s political school, writes from Ikot Uso Ekong, Eket.
