“He’s Not My Type”-BBNaija S10: Tracy Explains Why She Rejected Kuture

Freshly evicted Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Tracy Ekwe has broken her silence on why she turned down a romantic move from fellow contestant Kuture, despite their close bond in the house.

In a post-eviction interview with Classic FM Lagos, Tracy disclosed that while she respected Kulture as a friend, she could not see him as a potential partner.

“Kuture is my friend. He wanted more, but I don’t want more,” she said, explaining that their personalities clashed.

Recall that while in the house, Tracy and Kuture maintained a cordial friendship, often seen chatting and sharing light moments. While Kuture made his romantic interest clear, Tracy consistently set boundaries, insisting she valued him only as a friend.

She noted that she admired his energy but found his talkative nature overwhelming, famously describing him as a “parrot”.

Her refusal to pursue anything deeper highlighted her preference for compatibility over pressure.

However, speaking during the interview, she explained that the outspoken nature of Kulture, which many housemates and fans admired, was a major red flag for her.

“Because he can’t be my person, even though he is amazing. I think we have two different personalities,” Tracy noted.

She added, “There were some things about him that I wasn’t okay with, but I didn’t want to change about him because we are in a game, and maybe that’s why people like him.

“I came to find out that people like Kuture because he’s a parrot. So, imagine if I had changed him and he had become a quiet person; he would have gone home by now.”

Tracy emphasised that her rejection was not personal but hinged on incompatibility.

“Our personalities are just not compatible. Besides that, he’s not my type,” she said.
