REP. OKPOLUPM ETTEH CONCLUDES EIGHT-DAY FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH IN EKET
The eight-day Free Comprehensive Medical and Ophthalmological Outreach, sponsored by Rep. Okpolupm Etteh of the Eket/ONNA/Esit-Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency, successfully concluded on Friday at Immanuel General Hospital, Eket.
The outreach witnessed a remarkable turnout of residents and provided a wide range of medical services, including general consultations, surgical operations, laboratory tests, and specialized eye care.
Numerous patients from Eket and neighbouring communities benefited from successful surgeries such as myomectomies (fibroid removal), hernia repairs, and appendectomies. Others received effective treatment for various medical conditions.
One of the major highlights of the program was the ophthalmological services. Many residents were diagnosed and treated for different eye ailments, while free reading glasses were distributed to support better vision and overall well-being.
