School Resumption 

The Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Education wishes to inform the General Public and Education Stakeholders that the resumption date for the 1st term 2025/2026 academic session is Monday, 15th September, 2025.

Consequently, Principals/Head Teachers of Public Primary, Secondary and Technical Schools as well as Proprietors of Private Nursery/Primary and Secondary Schools in the State are to comply accordingly.

Parents and Guardians should note that lessons and other school activities for 1st Term will commence fully on Monday, 15th September, 2025. Teachers are by this notice, urged to sit up and perform their duties creditably well, as is expected of them.

The Honourable Commissioner for Education, Professor Ubong Essien Umoh, on behalf of the Ministry of Education, uses this medium to wish all School Children and Teachers a successful and rewarding new academic session.
