PRESS STATEMENT

THANK YOU, APC ELECTORS: I HAVE HEARD YOU

1. I am most grateful to God Almighty for His abundant grace and sufficient blessings. For without Him, I would find no favour amongst men, or success in my pursuits.

2. With profound gratitude, I offer my deep appreciation to all faithful of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in our federal constituency for their abiding faith in me, as reflected in the huge decision of May 16, 2026, that led to my emergence as the House of Representatives candidate of the party for the 2027 General Elections.

3. I am immensely grateful to our Governor and leader of the party in Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, for his goodwill towards my aspiration. This is a trust and good naturedness I do not intend to take for granted.

4. To my leaders in the Federal Constituency who have provided the needed guidance since I embarked on this journey, stakeholders, support groups, and individual supporters that have offered their backing to enable this beautiful outcome, I have engraved you in my heart. I will always remember your love.

5. To my women, I know you and you know me. We have known each other through the years – for more than three decades now. There are no new promises because we are not strangers. Since it is a life-long pact, we will continue to walk together, side by side, listening to each other and being there for one another.

6. I thank our youth for their strength, determination, and courage in pushing for purposeful leadership, progressive representation, and a united community.

7. I remain committed to a service of dedication, integrity and loyalty to our people, state, and party.

8. As we move forward to the final phase in preparation for the general election, I humbly plead that we stay united and focused in our work for victory.
