Udeme Nana to Share Expertise at CBN Management Training

A well known scholar and Chief Lecturer at the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Dr Udeme Nana, has been selected as a Resource person for a month – long training program involving middle level managers of the Central Bank of Nigeria ( CBN ).

In a letter addressed to the scholar by Riccheza Capital Advisors, a leading consulting firm in Nigeria, the firm stated that Dr Nana is expected to deliver lectures on leadership for Managers.

It further noted that the month – long programme will take the team to Ibadan, Ilorin, Kano and Calabar and acknowledged Dr Nana’s wealth of experience and leadership stating that he ‘was highly sought at this time’.

Nana, a seasoned journalism educator, consultant and a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, studied at the Department of Mass Communication, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication, a Masters of Business Administration degree in Marketing, a second Master’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising and a PhD in Mass Communication. He attended the International School of Public Relations in London and is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar, formerly, 21st Century Trust, London.

He is also an Alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School.
He sits, pro bono, on the 3 – Member Ombudsman Board of Premium Times, a respected Media institution in Nigeria.

A Member of the London based International Public Relations Association, IPRA, Dr Nana teaches courses in Writing and Media Criticism. He runs periodical MasterClasses in Writing and Public Affairs Management and is the Founder of Uyo Book Club, a voluntary community service initiative with the objective of re – awakening and promoting the culture of reading among people.
