The Chairman of Divine Seeds School and Ministries Eket, Pastor (Dr) Inyang Tobby, has declared Divine Seeds School as a citadel of excellence and high moral standard.

Tobby made the declaration during the 10th Graduation/Award Giving Ceremony held in honour of the 2026 graduating students on Saturday, 25th July, 2026 at the school campus, Ikot Oso, along Eket-Etinan Road, Eket.

Giving his exhortation, Pastor Tobby declared, “We are known for excellence and high moral standards, and we remain committed to raising Godly champions who will shape the future with wisdom, courage, and integrity.”

He thanked God for the privilege to witness the remarkable occasion and extend gratitude to parents for their unwavering support, teachers for their tireless dedication, and students for their patience, discipline and performance which have brought about the moment of greatness, urging them not to be weary for in due season, they will reap the fruits of their labour.

He added that Divine Seeds School is not only a place of learning, but a place of destiny. “Today marks our 7th graduation ceremony. Over the years, hundreds of students have passed through these halls, and they now shine as ambassadors of Divine Seeds across the world. They are doctors, engineers, IT professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders in diverse fields. Their success is proof that Divine Seeds Schools is not just a place of learning, but a place of destiny.”

He further stated that the conducive learning environment, sports facilities, ICT hub, swimming pool, and skills acquisition center are all designed to nurture greatness in every child, emphasizing that they will continue to upgrade, innovate, and strive toward world-class standards.

Pastor Tobby was full of praises to God for His benevolence as all his seven children including the last born graduated from the school, charging the graduands not to leave the school with certificate alone but with character, courage and conviction to explore their world.

The Guest of Honour and Executive Chairman of Eket Local Government Area, Mkpisong Akaniyene Tommey, in his speech, lauded the school management and staff for their unwavering dedication, commitment, and perseverance in grooming and mentoring world champions and future leaders. He encouraged the graduating students to remain focused, extol the values inculcated in them, urging them to always strive for excellence as they advance to higher academic pursuit and future careers.

The Chairman also celebrated his niece, Miss Grace Kingsley Tommey, who was among the 2026 graduating students, extolled her for embracing education as the foundation for success.

In recognition of their exceptional services and outstanding commitment, the Eket Council boss donated cash gift of N700,000 to teachers, N300,000 to the best graduating student, while all the 31 graduands also received N20,000 each.

The Keynote Speaker, Prof. Ubokubong Okon, speaking on the topic: After This, What Next?, urged the graduands to discover their purpose in life, be responsible citizen, and avoid any short cut as short cut to success does not last. He commended the school management for prioritizing spiritual growth, declaring that through divine guidance, the graduands will excel.

The Chairman of the Occasion, Engr. Job Ben, lauded the vision of Pastor Inyang Tobby and spouse, Pastor Mrs. Idaresit Tobby, for the quality of education offered at Divine Seeds School. He disclosed that when he needed a school for his child, someone recommended Divine Seeds School and today, he is proud of that decision as his daughter, Jemimah emerged School Prefect, following his footsteps while in secondary school.

While praying God to lift her daughter higher in life, Engr. Job further advised the 2026 graduands to serve as ambassadors of the school.

Meanwhile, an aspiring Medical Doctor, Bernard Emeayak Peters, emerged the Overall Graduating Student for the 2025/2026 Academic Session and was rewarded with N600,000, comprising N300,000 from the Chairman of Schools, Pastor Dr. Inyang Tobby, and an additional ₦300,000 from the Chairman of Eket Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. Akaniyene Tommey.

He also won more prizes and laurels as the Best Student in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Biology, reflecting his exceptional brilliance, dedication, and consistency in academic excellence. Earlier, Bernard performed creditably at the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) where he scored 300.

Other graduating students that received special awards and carted home laurels and huge cash gifts are Jemimah Job Ben, Abasiofon Inyang Tobby, Favour Chinyene Odonga, among others.

The event featured presentation by students, speeches by outgoing Senior Prefect (Boys/Girls), exchange of baton and prayers offered to the graduands.
