Gov. Umo Eno’s Aides throw weight behind Uyo Social Media Week

Aides to Governor Umo Eno on New Media, have thrown their weight behind the Uyo Social Media Week scheduled for November 19th-23rd, 2025.

The Aides gave the event their unanimous support earlier this week at the Government House in Uyo.

Speaking at a meeting with the Conference of Online Publishers in Akwa Ibom State (COOPA), the Team Lead, Mr. Kufre Ekpoh said the event would be the most robust Social Media Week to ever happen, given the line-up of activities it will feature.

He praised COOPA for the initiative to organise such grand event and assured the team of their full support, adding the programme aligns with the Arise Agenda of Governor Umo Eno.

While commending COOPA for being upbeat in the task of information management in the online media space, they appreciated the Conference for helping to promote the Arise Agenda and sought for more of the support.

Alongside his teammates, Mr. Ekpoh promised to give the event the needed support and thanked the Conference for identifying with them.

Earlier, the Chancellor of COOPA, Mr. Utitofon Morgan had invited the media aides to own the event, by attending and supporting it in everyway possible.

He noted that the event was a critical feature of COOPA’s 10-year anniversary and would take Akwa Ibom State to the world.
