I Am Grateful To God, Akwa Ibom People on Birthday Celebration – Lady Helen Obaraki

‎Coordinator of the Office of the First Lady, Akwa Ibom State, Lady Helen Eno Obareki has returned in thanksgiving to God for His grace upon her life which she said has enabled her perform creditably in her role, as well as Akwa Ibom people, for their deluge of goodwill that complemented the recent celebration of her 2025th birthday.

‎Lady Obareki who spoke Thursday, at the August edition of the Women Prayer Meeting held at the Banquet Hall of Government House, Uyo, said she was overwhelmed by the massive outpouring of love via text messages, calls and gifts on her birthday, saying words would never aptly convey her gratitude and appreciation.

‎”I am overwhelmed by the love I have received since on the 24th till now. Each time I try to respond to all the goodwill messages received, I’m always at a loss for the right words; permit me to use this medium to appreciate all of you for the gifts and messages, may God bless and reward you abundantly in Jesus name,” Obareki prayed.

‎She thanked the Deputy Governor of the State, Her Excellency, Senator Akon Eyakenyi, for her motherly disposition towards her and Akwa Ibom women, as well as her family for the massive support she has enjoyed so far.

Earlier in her message on the theme: “God is For Us” taken from Romans 8:31, Pastor Idongesit Charis emphasised that God only stands for those who fear Him, believe in Him and live righteously. She noted that when Christians maintain a right relationship with God, He will always work things out for their good.

The August edition of the Akwa Ibom State Women Monthly Prayer featured special thanksgiving and cake-cutting sessions by the Coordinator, Office of the First Lady, Mrs Helen Obareki and other women born in August.

Individuals and groups took turns to present gifts to the Coordinator of the office of the First Lady, while the Ibom Acapella group had a special rendition to spice up the service.
