The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Otoabasi Akpan reeled out his strategic plans for developing the University and also reiterated his commitment to enhancing the welfare of staff members.

Staff members in their numbers expressed their readiness to work with the new administration. They collectively praised the Governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, PhD, for the choice of an indigenous VC, who understands the perculiar challenges of the University, noting the development as golden.

The Town Hall series continues today at Obio Akpa Campus of the University by 2pm.
