Clergy donates food stuffs, clothes to underprivileged in support of Gov Eno ARISE Agenda
Founder of Pastor Udo Moses Evangelical Outreach, Pastor Udo Moses, has donated food stuffs, shoes and clothes to the underprivileged in our society, maintaining that the gesture is in line with the ARISE Agenda Policy of Governor Umo Eno led administration in Akwa Ibom State.
Speaking with MediaZone correspondent in Eket, Pastor Moses emphasized the need for people to complement government effort by also supporting those who are not earning salary monthly or have any source of livelihood.
According to him, “I decided to donate food stuffs and clothing to people as part of my effort to support the ARISE Agenda of Governor Umo Eno. As we all know that government cannot do everything, hence the need for some of us to do our best to support the destitute in our society especially the elderly ones.”
Speaking further, the Nsit Ubium born clergy noted that Governor Umo Eno has done exceedingly well within his two years in office by embarking on people oriented programs which have leverage on the challenges faced by the people.
“The Governor came prepared and since assumption of office, he has embarked on many life touching projects and initiative that have impact Akwa Ibom people positively. What is expected of us as citizens is to keep praying for him to succeed.
“Though I am not a politician, but as a Priest in the vineyard of God, I have been gathering people to pray for the Governor and I can boldly say that he will succeed his second term bid. The Governor is being loved by Akwa Ibom people because he is a compassionate leader.
“I want to encourage the Governor to continue reaching out to more people with his empowerment packages. He should remain focused by executing more life touching projects for the benefit of Akwa Ibom people.
He also solicited for support from spirited individuals and government to extend the gesture to other communities.
