Gov Aide bid farewell to singlehood, weds Emem Udofia amidst glitz and glamour

The serene environment of Lutheran Primary School, Nung Ukana in Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, came alive last Saturday, 20th September, 2025, as Personal Assistant on New Media to Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State, Ubong Creativity David, finally bid farewell to bachelorhood and joined together with former Emem Udofia as husband and wife.

The Traditional Marriage was attended by massive crowd including government officials, businessmen and corporate citizens, among whom were Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mkpisong Frank Archibong, Honourable Commissioner for Power, Rt. The Chairman of the occasion, Mkpisong Barr. Gabriel Fan, commended the wisdom of the couple for taking the right path by accepting to live together with each other as husband and wife, maintaining that the decision is in fulfillment of biblical injunction that a child will leave his parents and join together with another and they become one.

He counseled them to respect each other and live for each other so as to fulfill the purpose of God in their lives and family.

The Traditional Marriage was preceded by ‘Udia Ibenge‘ by the bride family where assorted food and delicacies are served the groom’s family welcoming them officially to the event.

Earlier, the wedding ceremony took place at Word of Grace Bible Church, Plot 80/82 Afaha Uqua Obok Idim Road, Eket and was conducted by Pastor George Umana and supported by his wife, Pastor Mrs. Helen Umana.

The church wedding was witnessed by Rev. Bolaji Adeisrael of Beautiful Gate Church, Pastor Ebong Eno (Prof) of All Nations Christian Ministries, Pastor Boice Ndedde of Revival Valley Ministry, wife of the Paramount Ruler of Eket, Obonganwan Mandu Abia, Vice Chairman of Eket Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Inyang Akpawan, former Member representing Eket Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Otuekong Patrick Ifon, NUJ Chairman, Comrade Nsibiet John, former Chapter Chairman of PDP in ONNA, Barr. Ubong Adiakpan, former Chapter Chairman of APC in ONNA, Hon. Samuel Mbosoh, MD of Maysarah Hotel, Engr. Also present to witness the event were parents of the bride, Mr. & Mrs. Nsikak Udofia, while ASP Solomon Udoh (Rtd) and Mrs. Paulina Jonathan Inyang represented parent of the groom. The groom, Ubong Creativity David, is a Personal Assistant on New Media to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno. He is a Blogger and Social Media Influencer. He is the National President, Coalition of Online Publishers, Bloggers and Social Media Influencers, COPBSMI, and the Publisher of MediaZone Nigeria Blog, www.mediazonenigeria.com and also managed several online platforms.

The bride, former Emem Nsikak Udofia, is a Port Harcourt based Chef with the brand, Emysparkles Kitchen.

Highpoint of the event was exchanged of marital vows by the couple, cutting of cake and presentation of gifts by friends, families and well wishers, while prayers and words of advice were offered the couple at the wedding and Traditional Marriage respectively.
