“So far, we are currently training 30 people in Microsoft certification in partnership with ATES Enterprise. The ICT center is powered by a 30kVA solar system, and the solar facility will also extend to other offices in need of power within the council. We also have a CCTV control room that monitors not only the ICT center but the entire premises,” he added.

On healthcare, Hon. Inoyo revealed that over 300 residents benefited from the last medical outreach organized by the council, with several major surgeries successfully carried out. He promised that the outreach will become an annual program throughout his tenure, stressing that the vision is to cater to the most vulnerable at the grassroots, regardless of background.

The chairman further explained that his administration has established an Education Trust Fund to support Nsit Ubium students, particularly those from less-privileged homes.

On agriculture, he announced that the council has acquired seven hectares of land to cultivate different crops. “As of now, we have employed over 50 people and pay them monthly,” he disclosed.

Speaking on security, Hon. Inoyo said his administration has established a Local Government Security Guard, employing 20 youths equipped with security kits—10 assigned to daytime duty and 10 at night.
