Bolt Driver Murder Case Postponed to 23 February; Suspects Remain in Custody
The three suspects in the Bolt driver murder case, Dikeledi Tears Phela, Gositsiane Machidi, and McClaren Mushwana appeared briefly in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court this morning, Monday.
Their case has been postponed to 23 February 2026 to allow for further investigation.
They will remain in custody, with the male suspects held at SAPS Pretoria North Police Station and Phela, the female suspect, held at Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Centre.
They are facing charges of murder and carjacking in connection with the fatal attack on the 22‑year‑old Nigerian national e-hailing driver.
