The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State on Non-Indigenes Affairs, Mr. Emmanuel Ogbole, has urged members of the South-South community in the state, to remain united and continue in their support for Governor Umo Eno and his ARISE Agenda.
Mr. Ogbole made the call during the inauguration of the new executive of the South-South Women’s Forum, a gathering of Niger Delta women resident in Akwa Ibom, held over the weekend.
Speaking at the event, the Governor’s Aide emphasized that the ARISE Agenda represents a people-focused blueprint committed to inclusion, empowerment, and development across all sectors.
He noted that the creation of the Office of Non-Indigenes Affairs under Governor Eno is a testament to the administration’s resolve to integrate all residents, regardless of origin, into the growth and governance process.
“I urge you to stand firm with Governor Umo Eno. He is a leader who knows the way, shows the way, and follows the way. This administration will not leave anyone behind.” he said.
Also speaking, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Technical Matters, Mr. Charles Okorie, described Governor Eno as a transformational leader determined to position Akwa Ibom as a model for inclusive development.
He applauded the Governor’s strides in infrastructure, education, and people-oriented policies, stressing that, he has positioned Akwa Ibom as a model of good and inclusive governance.
He charged the newly inaugurated executives to strengthen unity among women across Niger Delta communities in the state and to serve as reliable partners in the implementation of government initiatives.
In a goodwill message, President of the Niger Delta Communities in Akwa Ibom, Chief T.T. Brown; the newly sworn-in Woman Leader, Mrs. Usikhifo; Deputy Woman Leader, Mrs. Christiana Nkoli Ekanem; Mr. Sunday Osikhifo, all applauded Governor Umo Eno for his inclusive leadership and pledged continuous support for his administration.
