No Room for Opposition in Esit Eket Come 2027 – Iniobong Robson Declares

By Edifon Edoho

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Power, Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Iniobong Robson, has declared Esit Eket Local Government Area a restricted zone for the opposition.

The Commissioner made the declaration yesterday during the inauguration of the Esit Eket Chapter of the Arise with ith Renewed Hope Initiative, a political movement rallying grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Umo Eno and the Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio, in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

Robson, described the APC as the most entrenched and powerful political party, pointing out that every other political party in the state is backing Pastor Umo Eno, which makes the outcome of 2027 elections predictable for the APC.

“Failure to support Pastor Umo Eno, implies exclusion from the political movement of our community in Esit Eket; consequently, the triumph of Pastor Umo Eno, President Tinubu and Akpabio is assured in this locality,” Iniobong stated.

“Our support for Akpabio shouldn’t be limited by his senatorial district; instead, our endorsement for President Tinubu should reflect the significance of our son’s Senate President position, not just as a regular member of the Senate but as a potential occupant of the third-highest office in Nigeria, an outcome contingent on substantial support, and Esit Eket would undoubtedly deliver that in abundance”.

Speaking further, the Power Boss reiterated the area’s commitment to mobilizing grassroots support to secure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Umo Eno.
